Welcome to KP-OCR. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KP-OCR web application, services, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

KP-OCR is an AI-powered document analysis platform designed to classify supported documents (such as Aadhaar and PAN cards) using deep learning models and extract structured information through Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

2. User Eligibility

By registering or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Upload only documents that you own or are authorized to process
• Not upload illegal, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, manipulate, or misuse the AI models
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Document Processing & Accuracy

KP-OCR uses machine learning models to classify and extract data from documents. While we aim for high accuracy, AI-based outputs may contain errors due to image quality, document variations, or model limitations.

Extracted results are provided on a "best-effort" basis and should always be manually reviewed before use in critical workflows.

5. Data Handling & Privacy

Uploaded documents are processed temporarily for analysis purposes only. KP-OCR does not permanently store uploaded images unless explicitly stated. All temporary files are automatically cleaned after processing.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect uploaded data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You acknowledge and accept this risk.

7. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Use KP-OCR for identity fraud or impersonation
• Upload documents belonging to others without consent
• Bypass system validations or security controls
• Use the Service to generate misleading or illegal outputs

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to KP-OCR, including source code, models, UI design, and branding, belongs to the project owner. Unauthorized copying or redistribution is prohibited.

9. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service without prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KP-OCR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
